Ain't Talkin'. Just walkin'.

Bob Dylan        Modern Times

In the last post I produced a timeline looking at anti-Islamic/Asian sentiment as it manifested itself in the timing of police terror raids, media coverage, the pre-arrest involvement and timing of Crown Prosecution Service press releases. Part of the panoply of Psy-ops.

The timeline also gave an indication of the way people are being smeared by some Labour Ministers, especially Reid and Kelly - the Mortificant. I think it really upset them when I again pointed out the surreptitious use of the paedophile scare to try and smear Muslims. Specifically by using the verb groom. Well Reid used it again last Monday in the House of Commons when arguing against the inclusion of a House of Lords amendment to the UK/US Extradition Treaty 2003 and for a meaningless government amendment designed to dismiss the Lords amendment. This time he tried to tar any opposition in Parliament to the Americans not having to provide a prime facia case for extradition in a British court with support for paedophiles. To quote John Reid:

"Let me give the hon. Gentleman some examples of people whom we cannot extradite under the present arrangements. There are a number of paedophiles, for instance. One in particular has been long sought by the authorities in this country, and is now sheltering in the United States behind the technicality that because his alleged sexual attacks on children happened a long time ago he cannot be extradited. Does that serve the purpose of justice?"

It took a Tory - Edward Garnier QC MP, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs - to call him on it. How bad is that - looking to a Tory to challenge some despicable politics. To quote from his contribution;

"I found the Home Secretary’s speech breathtaking in its use of Aunt Sallies that have nothing to do with the guts of the treaty or the Bill. He produced a load of utterly irrelevant arguments that had nothing to do with anything other than Labour party propaganda. It was also a nasty and sinister speech—unsurprisingly—underneath which lay an invidious threat that had nothing to do with the duties of Members of Parliament. The Home Secretary said that unless Members did as he advised and kowtowed to the Executive, and unless they agreed to what the right hon. Member for Sheffield, Brightside (Mr. Blunkett) did secretly in March 2003, they would be allowing paedophiles to go free. I have heard some revolting arguments in my time, but that just about takes the biscuit—

Mr. Ian Cawsey (Brigg and Goole) (Lab): It is true.

Mr. Garnier: It is not true and if the hon. Gentleman thinks that it is, he should have the guts to stand up and defend his position.

Mr. Cawsey: I am not allowed to do so.

Mr. Garnier: No, and that is just as well.

Let us analyse what the Government seek to persuade us to agree. They say that the US should be designated as a jurisdiction that does not require a prima facie case to be made unless certain things happen within certain periods. We have just heard from the right hon. and very cynical Gentleman that those things will never happen. So the amendment on designation is cynical, meaningless and hollow."

(Scroll down half the page for the start of the full transcript of the debate. Lords Reason: 36B. )

The Government won the vote by 90+ votes and it was surprising to see the veteran socialist Dennis Skinner vote with the Labour Party on this one, but then sectarianism runs deep in the Labour Party Left - what remains of it.

A so called 'Labour' Home Secretary is using the paedophile tag to smear parliamentary opposition and in the process demeaning the trauma of victims of paedophilia so as to hide his treason to the British people. How low can you sink. This government is desperate. They have lost the war but find themselves glued to an American policy that is falling apart at the seams. NATO is being broken on Afghanistan and our army, as Gen Dunnatt has said needs to come home 'sometime soon' or it risks being broken as well. Reid nor blair can act in the best interests of the nation when in this sort of a pickle.

The British government only defeated a motion calling for an inquiry into their conduct of the war by 25 votes. Blair refused to attend the debate and face the criticisms. Such a weak, cowardly man . The American people have just given the Bush/blair war machine a jolt at the mid-term elections. It doesn't mean that the war will end tomorrow and our troops come home but it is making it more difficult to keep them in harms way for a lie.

As this disaster that is Iraq starts its final unravelling we could be in for some dangerous times as I think some reactionary elements of the British Establishment are very worried that the withdrawal could bring with it political disruption and a collapse of capitalist hegemony over the population. There is nothing surer to cause disruption on such a scale as a defeat in war and a demoralised army returning home knowing they had been lied to.

The Americans also know this and will do everything in their power, up-to and including organising a police/secret service coup, to stop this country breaking away from the disastrous military alliance with them. We have become crucial, along with Israel, to the Americans continuing with the neocons strategy of "full spectrum domination". I am not sure but I think 'Operation Gladio' , or similar has been active since at least the start of the war.

The Americans have gone so far down the road of war for the control of oil and its direction of flow that it is very difficult for them to stop without their society going into free-fall. Anyway these wars are not a 'folly', as William S. Lind has argued - Director for the Centre for Cultural Conservatism - but a thought out strategy to try and deal with the organic crisis of late-stage capitalism, compounded by Peak Oil and climate change which will not go away, in favour of an American elite and their international allies. Or faction of. The most authoritarian, ruthless faction. Bush's grandfather - Prescott Bush - was a partner with and ran the American banking arm of the German Thyssen's iron and armaments industry, who funded Hitler's rise to power in the 20s and 30s. It only stopped when America entered the war in 1942 and Prescott Bush faced gaol under the 'Trading With The Enemy Act'.

Unfortunately, two of the four world's giant oil companies have substantial British interests - BP/Amoco and Royal Dutch Shell. Neither will want a break in the Anglo-American alliance and the access to Middle East oil.

On Friday 10.11.06. The leader of the British National Party (Nazi) was found not guilty of inciting racial hatred. He was caught on camera describing "Islam as a "wicked, vicious faith" and said Muslims were turning Britain into a "multi-racial hell hole"'". The narrow interpretation being that they were anti-religious pronouncements, not racist and were committed prior to a new law outlawing the incitement to religious hatred. The jury came back with a unanimous decision. At a time of the engineered heightening of anti-Muslim and anti-Asian sentiment amongst the general population, this decision must be very intimidating for the British Muslim and Asian communities. It's as if the attack dog chained up to the wall is now on a leash held by its owner. Do not expect the BNP to be idle following the acquital, they will at some point try and organise a march and confrontation.

Again on Friday it was reported that the head of MI5 gave a speech to a selected audience of reporters, academics and students.  The Director General of the Security Service, Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller told her audience that there were upwards of 30 Muslim terrorist plots under surveillance at the moment. She also said ,
"The extremists are motivated by a sense of grievance and injustice driven by their interpretation of the history between the West and the Muslim world. This view is shared, in some degree, by a far wider constituency. If the opinion polls conducted in the UK since July 2005 are only broadly accurate, over 100,000 of our citizens consider that the July 2005 attacks in London were justified."

It is not so much the 'interpretation of the history' that is the problem. At the outbreak of World War 1, the Dorsetshire Regiment were the first mobilised and were sent to Basra to secure the oil for the British Fleet that had just converted from coal. In one way or another we have been interfering since in an attempt to maintain control of oil flows from the Muslim Middle East. This interpretation is accepted as historically accurate by far more than the terrorists or those who support their methods.

It is the conclusion from the interpretation that any home grown terrorists come to that is wrong. It is right to try and catch those who would use terror to change a states policy. It only ever aids reaction. Non-violent mass participatory civil disobedience and direct action is the only way to bring about the ending of our participation in the war and bring the forces home.  (This is not to say that the resistance to occupation in Iraq or Palestine is not legitimate. It is. We would be doing the same here if invaded and occupied by another country's army. Quite rightly.)

Manningham-Buller also used the new favourite word of the moment, 'groomed', to describe the modus operandi of the terrorist in trying to recruit Muslim youth in this country. This is the wrong word. The youth are certainly talking amongst themselves about what is going on. Every time they see another atrocity committed against Muslims they are judging Britain, their own country, by it's actions. The only way to judge any country. They will talk about it, of course they will and quite angrily, some of them will draw conclusions that are wrong and who may be influenced to act on that wrong conclusion. These young people aren't empty vessels waiting to be filled with extremist ideas, or 'groomed' to do bad. They live in a society that tells them everyday that they are inferior because of their race, that their religion is a "wicked, vicious faith" and the majority of them live in poverty. The problem we face is not the British Muslims but the actions of the British state at home and abroad.

Why in these last two posts have I raised the issue of the government using the paedophile scare against those they perceive as an enemy?  Why do I have an acute nose for this sort of thing? When I was a very young child, between 6 and 8 years of age, I was visited by the police and asked questions about the male cousin of our next door neighbour at that time. I can't remember his name but the next door neighbours were called Haskins/Hoskins (something like that) and they lived at 3 Exford Close, Weston-Super-Mare. I was questioned by the police - my mother was present - about being sexually molested by him. I have always remembered that the final answers I gave were not true. That I had done something wrong by lying. When ever I gave an answer that made it clear that I had never been alone with him and that he never abused me, the policeman would re-ask the question until I said what he wanted.  It doesn't take much to get a child to say what is wanted from them, you do not need to use torture. I think the next door neighbour's cousin may have been Gay, and in 1950s Britain......

I have carried this knowledge throughout my life and the guilt of not being strong enough, even as a very young child, to stay with the truth has never left me. My Mother never spoke about it again although I did mention it to her 2 or 3 years ago and she told me to forget about it. Like I said I never have. I don't know what happened to the next door neighbour's cousin but 2 or 3 years after the police visit I did see him and though he never spoke to me it was obvious that it made him angry seeing me. Ever since that police visit I have always been suspicious of the veracity of police claims of criminality being levelled against anybody and why I am so opposed to people being extradited from anywhere by only an accusation and without prime facia evidence being produced.

On Thursday 03.11.06, I switched off my mobile phone and left it at home. It didn't take long for the spooks to show themselves. I was followed home from the cafe. I have, over the past few years, occasionally switched my mobile phone off and have always found that I will be followed and made to know I am being followed. It can be good fun when you don't take the attempted intimidation, or the suggestions, to seriously. It certainly confirms whom be Spooks.

On Monday 08.11.06. a 'Bob' look alike was waiting on the opposite side of the road from the bookshop that I had just left having picked up the Second Palestinian Intifada by Ramzy Baroud. The 'Bob' look alike waited to cross a clear road until he could fill my eyesight and interrupt my progress. He had been seen early though.  I've also had a look-alike of my sister used, who glared at me when coming into the cafe one morning just after a posting to the site. Its all right, I am not paranoid and hallucinating, I've dropped more than enough acid and some E's to know what hallucinations are. Anyway I have already been told by the neurologist when consulting him on my multiple sclerosis, that I have a right to be suspicious.

I've mentioned 'Bob' before in a previous post - following on - about an intervention being necessary for him when he stopped taking his medication and becoming threatening to people at large. What I wrote then,

"To top it all another local stopped taking his medication and his behaviour deteriorated, becoming quite alarming. The inventions of his life, its history and present, became to complex to follow. The third day back at the cafe and he's recounting to me the murders he claims to have committed which is more than I need to know. Intervention was called for to protect him from himself and others, in that the heightened state he was in could leave him open to nasty suggestion from unpleasant people."

Then in the cafe, following the sighting of the 'Bob' look-alike, what should be dropped into the conversation but the threat posed to the general public from psychopaths who travel around the world killing. Yes, and they are called American and British mercenaries. But that was not what was implied initially. The threat was to the ordinary person by the insane in the world and of which the chances of meeting such a threat are very slim. Funny how the American is always around when things like this happen. This time though there was another in the vicinity who used to work for Shell internationally as a telecommunications specialist. The vetting for such positions has to be one of the most rigourous. He's also involved in the 9/11 Truth Movement. Was all this coincidence. No, of course not and it must be costing a fortune because I've had 5 years of this.

Where are the behavioural psychology graduates working? Advertising, business personnel departments and the intelligence/security services. What ever the spooks have for my psychological profile needs to be updated. They obviously think I am a victim of childhood sexual abuse when it is not the case and have been conducting their strategy as if it were. Despite having me on their books since 1974 when arrested by American Military Police in Germany for possession of dope, they have no idea who I really am. Give you a clue. My army discharge papers - "an honest young man".  Who ever wrote my psychological profile is about to get a right bollocking!

(Don't even get me going on Neuroscience after reading the interview with Jonathan Morena , author of "Mind Wars: Brain Research and National Defence", what with my multiple sclerosis and a drug trial I was on conducted by a company based in San Diego.)

Suggestion. Suggestion. Suggestion at every turn. Trying to hit the triggers for anxiety and stress to heighten emotions like fear, anger, love, jealousy and so create an adverse affect on my MS - get my Maggie to give me a battering. I have written about this before.

A while back I wrote about having my fingerprints lifted by being given a brand new untouched book which was taken back by the person who handed it to me making sure she did not touch the glossy cover. Last week she made her first appearance since then. The book was written by somebody who had spent the previous year caring for the terminally ill and helping them into the ground. A few months ago another woman introduced herself to me. Her job. A nurse helping the terminally ill into the ground.

I tell you. The next time suicide is dropped into the conversation I will be offering to assist in their own suicide if they so wish, not that I'd have the strength to do it.

I've previously mentioned on this site about the struggle I have been having with pornography. Well, I haven't visited any porn sites for quite a while and even when I did it was never child porn or snuff stuff. I do not find children sexually attractive. When a child myself I did have what has been described as an incestuous relationship with my sister - written about on this site - though I had no real idea what sex comprised of then. My excuse, if there is one - a physically and mentally abusive father and me transferring the hurt and loss of power onto someone else. As is the case with the vast majority of childhood abuse - it occurs in the family. I have written of this before . As I have about my mother walking out a few times when I was 4 or 5 and going to stay with her sisters after physical abuse from my father, being one causal factor in being afraid to commit to a long term relationship. My father was never treated for PTSD picked up as a veteran of WW11. My parents generation just 'got on with it' and behind which a lot of domestic abuse was hidden.

Why would a broken down, worn out, overweight old hippy and wasted old commie like me write about such things? Just trying to satisfy an ambition to write, regain some political integrity by saying it as I see it, if a bit late in the day. Was it only the 1960s when we sought to know ourselves?
